Design Connect Sales Support Representative - Remote
The Design Connect Sales Support Representative is an integral part of The Home Depot's centralized contact center design team. This role focuses on connecting our kitchen experts with customers embarking on kitchen and bath projects. As a Sales Support Representative, you will handle inbound inquiries from both internal and external customers via telephone, email, and fax. Your responsibilities include providing information on product features, advantages, and benefits, as well as making suggestions about related merchandise and installation services. You will provide fast, friendly service to customers, assess their needs, and offer assistance. This involves properly greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing sales for customers' kitchen and bath projects. Additionally, you will ensure an effective hand-off to our Kitchen and Bath Designers at The Home Depot.
Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Engage with customers in a positive and professional manner via phone and online. Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and determine needs to provide appropriate solutions. Respond to online customer "ask a kitchen expert" inquiries and schedule appointments for designers.

Sales: Create and drive sales by understanding customers' needs for kitchen and bath projects. Follow up on countertop and other kitchen and bath product quotes with customers, converting inquiries into sales. Suggest related items or services to complement products purchased and achieve individual sales goals.

Self-Development: Proactively seek knowledge of kitchen and bath products and services to support your role as a subject matter expert for The Home Depot's offerings. Maintain awareness of industry trends.
Requirements:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Legally permitted to work in the United States.

High school diploma or GED.

Contact center experience preferred.

Sales aptitude, including the ability to close sales, presentation skills, initiative, persistence, adaptability, and professionalism.

Experience in design, retail, or specialty sales is a plus.

Knowledge of CDM and/or CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
